Jubilee Resale is the Social Enterprise Division at Outreach. Jubilee Resale sponsors three resale operations in DuPage County–Jubilee Furniture in Carol Stream, Jubilee Resale in Lombard, and Jubilee Cars, located on-site at Jubilee Furniture.
The mission for the Social Enterprise Division is to support the community services that Outreach sponsors throughout DuPage County. The method is to recycle quality used donations provided by our faith, business, and community partners. Learn more about Outreach’s services and its mission.
Jubilee Furniture
Jubilee Furniture is Outreach’s regional furniture superstore. Established by a volunteer team in 2008, this multi-showroom complex features 23,000-square feet of quality used furniture and home goods for every room in your home.
Conveniently located in Carol Stream, Jubilee Furniture is 2.0 miles west of I-355, on Route 64 (North Ave.). It is open Wednesday through Saturday. It provides free donation pick-up service for multiple items of quality used furniture from donation partners who live in proximity to the store.

Jubilee Resale
Jubilee Resale in Lombard is a large traditional resale store located on Roosevelt Road in Lombard, near Highland Boulevard.
Jubilee Resale in Lombard is operated in partnership with Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst. Its mission is to support the community services of Outreach York–Outreach’s neighborhood resource center in York Township; and support academic services and scholarships at Timothy Christian Schools.
Jubilee Resale in Lombard features a large selection of quality used clothing and clothing accessories. It offers a boutique for designer clothing, plus home décor and quality used furniture sourced locally and through Jubilee Furniture.

Jubilee Cars
Donate your vehicle! Unlike most other vehicle donation programs, donors can rest assured that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of vehicle will support Outreach and its mission in DuPage County.
Operating out of the warehouse at Jubilee Furniture, Jubilee Cars is staffed by a team of volunteers who work on donated vehicles to prepare them for sale to customers and clients at Outreach–in particular those residing in its transitional housing centers.

Volunteers Make the Difference!
Volunteers are the “back bone” and the “people” power for the resale operations at Outreach!
Volunteers from Outreach’s partner churches founded Jubilee Furniture in 2008 in an old warehouse adjacent to one of its partner churches. Over the years, as the volunteer team grew in size and commitment, Jubilee Furniture flourished into the largest used furniture resale store in the western suburbs! Today volunteers serve on the Leadership Board, set up and price the store each week, staff the sales floor, “re-purpose” furniture, and staff the repair shops!
Jubilee Resale in Lombard was founded in July 2022 in partnership with the volunteer team provided by Timothy Christian Schools (TCS), and its circle of affiliated churches. Originally opened as a satellite of Jubilee Furniture, featuring quality used furniture, Jubilee Resale recently shifted into a traditional resale store, adding a large clothing and accessories department. The “founding” volunteer team continues to anchor the furniture department. A new generation of volunteers from TCS are stepping up to re-brand the store as Jubilee Resale and staff the new clothing department with a large selection of traditional clothing and accessory options. This new volunteer initiative is building a team of volunteers to staff the back room (sorting and pricing), the showroom (floor maintenance), the cash station, and the donation center. Join this team and experience fellowship, and build community, and find purpose while serving at Jubilee Resale!
Once a Mechanic, always a Mechanic at Jubilee Cars!
There are only two ways to restore a vehicle–use the pro repair shops with high expense; or recruit the “pros” who have retired and provide them with a “second half” mission to utilize their talent, knowledge and time in support of a great cause. The all-volunteer team at Jubilee Cars is small-sized right now, but they are “big-hearted” and they are eager to welcome as many talented volunteers as they can find.

Our People Are the Difference
Outreach’s social enterprises play a crucial role in fulfilling its mission. The leadership team is also essential in fostering community connections and broadening the organization’s impact. Recently, Outreach welcomed Alejandro Estrada as the new Social Enterprise Director, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization.
“I am confident that Alejandro’s leadership and vision will elevate our social enterprise initiatives, further advancing our mission and making a greater impact in our communities,” says Nate Kaunley, Outreach’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Chris Ellerman, Outreach’s founder, has dedicated the past two years to building infrastructure, planning staff, and preparing for a new leader to take charge of Outreach’s resale operations.
“I am thankful to Chris for assembling such a talented team and for the continued growth both stores enjoy due to his long-standing dedication,” Kaunley adds.
Estrada will be responsible for overseeing Jubilee Furniture in Carol Stream, Jubilee Resale in Lombard, and the Jubilee Cars Ministry. Ellerman will continue his role at Outreach as the Executive Director of the Legacy Fund, focusing on relationship-building and fundraising efforts.
With a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University, Estrada comes with extensive experience in operations management, leadership, and team development. His proven history of optimizing processes, cultivating a motivated workforce, and driving growth initiatives makes him a valuable asset to the social enterprises team.
